Beautiful wedding. Fun location!

Golly Gee! Been pretty busy lately, and haven't been doing a very good job with my post. I have been having a great time DJ'ing at several weddings, and had the pleasure of Photographing another.

Katie and Ethan were great, their wedding was beautiful, and we had a blast photographing them. I wish we had more time to do formal pictures, but we wanted to keep it quick! You know, so we could get to the party!

Another event we did was a wedding this last weekend at the "Hidden Valley Resort" in Pigeon Forge. This was the first time we had been there. What a neat little place to have a reception. It has the usual flare of a country cabin, but with a dab of sophistication. It was really great! Very warm, and fancy at the same time. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a great setting, for what seemed would be a great price!

Well I wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Remember, we are offering reduced rates for photography for a very limited time! Now is your chance to get some great portraits!

Well, time flies by, and we have made it back in one piece from vacation to Bermuda. Everyone that has been trying to reach us, thank you for being patient while we took this much needed trip.

We had a great time! Took some neat pictures. One of our favorite places was the lighthouse. A real working lighthouse, built after a few shipwrecks on the island in 1844, it remains the first Cast Iron lighthouse built! What a view from the top!
We also spent alot of time at the beach. Since we rented scooters, we could travel to secluded beaches, far off the beated path. One such beech we ran into a small obstacle. While climbing over a hill on the way, I noticed I was standing next to some cardboard cut-outs, that had been shot up quit heavily. I looked to the right and there they were. A platoon of soldiers. I was standing right in the middle of a rifle range! I was quite interested until the reality hit. We went to a different beach!

On the second day, we lost a friend. Betsy we called her. That's right, our scooter with an amazing 29,000 miles on it, of which resided on an insland of about 20 square miles, took it's last breath. We took a picture of her as we waiting for the rescue party. She looks sad.

Well, that about does it for now. We have just gotten finished with some wedding DJ events, and have several more coming up in the next two months. Can;t wait until the future photography bookings come along. Don't forget, all customers that have hired us before this posting are eligable for a free engagement photo shoot! You can't beat that with a 10 foot pole!

Booms Day with a couple of pics!

Well Booms day came here in Knoxville. I was surprised to hear they are the largest Labor Day fireworks in the Nation! Well, we went early and found a perch that would give us some good shots. We had a blast, but man was it hot! Did I say Hot? I mean really Hot! Standing on a parking garage is no way to stay cool!
The fireworks started and we got some great shots!!

Labor Day marks the beginning of fall and cooler temperatures. We are really looking forward to this! No more sweating outside, and my wife telling me I stink! (I don't really stink, I just look like I do)
We are currently offering free engagement photo sessions for anyone interested. Give us a call to schedule an appointment, or better yet, just write service@tandjphotography.net

Okay, here's our cat!

Well not bad for 3 minutes of work. My wife is so patient with me... I have destroyed our large TV room upstairs, temporarily filling it with nothing but White! It surrounds you! Creating a white background was difficult, but I am getting good results out of it. I am waiting on just 1 more piece of equipment, then we will start doing people, rather than cats! Mario (Our Cat) seemed to enjoy the attention, and he certainly looks good in front of white! A little gray in the top left corner, but with a new light stand, that should be eliminated easily. Doesn't he look good?

I guess I'll kick this thing off

Well, blogging seems to be the newest, and greatest thing ever. Since I'm beginning a new endeavor with photography, why not start this as well, almost like a journal. The only problem with journals, is I could only ever keep one going for about 2 days. Hope this one lasts longer.

I hope to track our progress, writing about some exeriences along the way. I'm sitting here thinking this is going to be boring for anyone reading, as My cat lays beside the screen, of course sleeping. Maybe I'll wake him and see if I can get any good shots.
